EVANGELINE SHEPARD
Biography
Born and raised in Oregon Evangeline has had a love for acting as far back as she can remember. Sports had never been her thing and when she found theater, her life changed forever.
She started out in her first play ever playing the role of Helena in A Midsummer Night's Dream by William Shakespeare. Although it wasn't until her role in Macbeth as a witch, she realized her passion for acting. Evangeline's middle school never had much to offer when it came to theater so when she attended Milwaukie Academy Of The Arts, she dived head first into theater.
Evangeline has been in many plays during her high school career. She has been in various productions such as a student-written play by Niels Truman called Code Serpent where she played the role of the Professor, Two Gentlemen Of Verona as the host, Reckless by Craig Lucas where she portrayed the fifth doctor and B&B by Bob Tucker where she was cast as the role of Barbara. She also played Mrs. Salt in Charlie And The Chocolate Factory. Evangeline plans to be part of many more shows in the future.
She has also been in a few competitions. At Milwaukie Academy Of The Arts, her freshman and sophomore year, both of the short student-directed plays went to NWOC. B&B went to NWOC and Oregon Thespian State Festival in 2019. Her Junior year at Clackamas High school Evangeline competed in Regionals. She acted in the experienced dramatic large group acting category where she participated in a scene from 'The Wolves'.
Evangeline hopes to continue her acting career and start putting out work for film acting.
